Alphonse Mucha Art Prints

Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) was a Moravian artist was one of the most well-known and loved Art Nouveau artists. He studied art in Prague, Munich and Paris in the late 1800's. He had a fascination for female beauty, which featured prominently in his paintings, advertisement illustrations, such as Moet et Chandon Champagne and theatrical production advertisement posters. He was hired by Sarah Bernhardt to be the principal designer of her theatre posters. One of his chief influences was English Pre-Raphaelite.
