About Me
Designer • Thinker • Maker
Hello, I'm Jeannine
I'm endlessly curious, a lover of beautiful details, and someone who finds inspiration in the quiet intersections of art, nature, and technology.
My Approach
With over a decade of experience in digital design, I've developed a philosophy that centers on the human experience. Every project is an opportunity to create something meaningful, work that not only looks beautiful but also serves a purpose, solves real problems, and connects with people on a deeper level.
I believe that the best design emerges from a deep understanding of both the problem and the people it affects. It's about listening, observing, and iterating until we find the solution that feels both inevitable and surprising.
What Drives Me
I'm inspired by the quiet moments, the way light filters through leaves, the rhythm of a well-designed interface, the satisfaction of a perfectly organized space. These everyday experiences shape how I approach design, always seeking that balance between functionality and beauty.
Technology should feel human. It should adapt to us, not the other way around. That's the standard I hold myself to in every project, whether it's a website, an app, or a brand identity.
Beyond the Screen
When I'm not designing, I'm usually immersed in the things that keep my creativity alive and my curiosity sharp. You'll find me riding my bike, experimenting with photography and videography, wandering through art museums, or befriending every cat I meet. I'm also a devoted plant-tender with an ever-growing jungle of houseplants that somehow always finds room to expand.
My love for the past runs deep, I'm drawn to vintage everything. I restore old pieces when I can, hunt for forgotten treasures, and collect vintage pens (and I'm learning how to bring them back to life). I have a soft spot for marbles and flower frogs, tiny artifacts that feel like they carry stories in their weight and shape. Classic car shows are another favorite haunt, where chrome, history, and craftsmanship collide in the best way.
When I want to work with my hands, I sew. When I want to get lost in sound, I'm getting back into DJing the goth-industrial tracks that shaped my early creative identity.
All of these pursuits, tactile, nostalgic, expressive, keep me grounded and remind me that inspiration rarely comes from staring at a screen. It comes from living, collecting, restoring, wandering, and letting the world surprise you.
